Konami's Fitness Revolution [Isn't] Here

In 2001, Konami's Health Entertainment division announced the Fitness Revolution Series, three fitness machines that plug into your TV: the Stepper Revolution, the Walker Revolution, and the Bike Revolution (pictured above). They would have used XaviX technology (anybody remember XaviX?), run on four AA batteries, and used interchangeable cartridges. One cartridge with three games would have been included.

The page on the Konami website also mentions receiving a password after doing "a certain amount of exercise." You would have then been able to submit this password to receive Japan Airlines mileage points.

I say "would have" because there is no evidence these came out. There's not much of anything online, even in Japanese. They were scheduled to be released in September. Perhaps world events sidelined these things, or Konami just figured nobody would actually buy them.

Also in 2001, Konami announced the Fitness Orchestra Series, fitness equipment that makes music as you move, but does not connect to your TV. These would have also made use of the Japan Airlines mileage program. There is slightly more written about these, but again, there is no reason to believe these came out, either.
